Your account

When accounts are enabled, we store your display name, profile photo (if uploaded), email address, and saved note identifiers in MongoDB Atlas. We send a single-use sign-in link through Resend. Signing in does not subscribe you to the newsletter.

Cookies and saved notes

A secure, essential session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 14 days. Sign out to revoke it. Saved notes belong to your account and can be removed with the bookmark button. A first-party visit cookie lasts up to 400 days and browser storage remembers that you have visited, so the newsletter invitation is shown only once in that browser. Clearing site data or using a different browser may show it again.

Comments

Your current display name, avatar, and comment are visible when a comment is published. Akismet checks the comment, name, email address, IP address, and browser information for spam. Clean comments publish automatically; spam is blocked, and uncertain checks are held for review. We do not display your email address.

Wednesday Notes

Newsletter subscription is optional and requires confirmation by email. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter. Account creation and newsletter consent are separate.

Hosting and service providers

The site is prepared for Vercel hosting, MongoDB Atlas storage, Resend email delivery, and Akismet spam checks. Fonts are hosted with the site. We do not add advertising or analytics trackers.

While setup is in progress

Features that need an unconnected service are marked unavailable. The public editor preview uses sample data and does not save it. Sample writing is labelled. For questions about your data, or to request account deletion, email hello@worthychukwuemeka.com.
